Hi, I’m Paula….

Emmy award winning Singer, Actress, Voice Teacher, Renaissance Woman. I am passionate about beauty, grace and elegance in all its manifestations - whether through singing, teaching, entertaining, or exploring the world and its many cultures.

I feel very blessed to have sung professionally on the great stages of New York City, from Radio City Music Hall all the way uptown to Lincoln Center’s New York City Opera and the Metropolitan Opera.

It took years of soul searching and acting classes to find my stride as a professional singer. In the process, I began to teach singing and eventually public speaking. It has always been a great honor to welcome students into my studio.

There’s a line from the King and I- “when you become a teacher, by your pupils you’ll be taught”. My students have helped me to be a better singer, performer and person. They have inspired me to create a safe haven where we explore together the depth and scope of their unique voices. We engage in theater games, experience the beauty of the vibration of sound through Crystal and Tibetan Singing Bowls and sing or speak from our heart.

Over the years I have grown to respect the act of singing, of communicating through words and sound, as one of the most important of human gifts. I strive to bring the Joy of Singing which I grew up with to each and every student. I consider the relationship of teacher and student as a team effort. And I consider the act of singing a healing practice.
